Locum to Physician Assistant in Orthopedics in Knox County, ME

We are hiring a Locum to Physician Assistant in Orthopedics in Knox County, ME!

Job details:

• Start date: Start August 2025 – With a view to extent from 6 months to a year
• Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday office/OR hours
• Setting: Split inpatient and ambulatory role, with majority of time being spent in ambulatory/clinic
• Call schedule: 1:4 call rotation, with first call backed by a physician
• Patients in office per week: 60
• Patients in hospital per week: 3-7
• Clinic staffing info: 3 surgeons, 3 APPs, 6 MAs, 3 PSRs, 2 Rad Techs, 1 Triage RN
• Culture of the practice: This practice is fast paced and has a strong focus on patient cantered care

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Active ME License or Active IMLC
• Must be a Practicing provider
• Must be available full time

• Hourly rates: $123 for W2 and $142 for 1099
