We are expanding and ha ve an opportunity for a Surgical Physician Assistant or APRN to join us at St. Vincents Medical Center in Bridgeport CT and be part of a supportive and collaborative team of 7 PAs and 6 MDs across the state. If you are a Certified Physician Assistant or APRN licensed in the state of Connecticut, we would like to speak with you.
The Role of the Surgical Physician Assistant / APRN Includes:
Partnering directly with the Medical Director of Lung Screening Program, Hartford HealthCare & Director of Thoracic Surgery, Fairfield Region
A well-rounded surgical experience; participating in oncologic care of lung and esophageal cancer patients, as well as benign thoracic and foregut conditions
Assisting top tier surgeons in the operating room
Learning the latest minimally invasive and open surgical techniques
About Hartford HealthCares Thoracic Service:
Equipped with the latest techniques for treating benign and malignant conditions of the lung, chest wall, and esophagus.
Offers minimally invasive techniques that include robotic surgery and VATS
Involvement in multidisciplinary collaboration through the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute.
Committed to providing compassionate care.

Qualifications /Requirements
Certified Physician Assistant or APRN licensed in the state of Connecticut.
Previous OR experience required.
Cancer related surgical experience is preferred.
Robotic surgical experience preferred.
