Pain Medicine PA/NP

Summit Health is seeking a Pain Medicine APP who would like the opportunity to join a thriving practice within a financially secure, physician-driven, multispecialty setting. 

As an expansion of Summit Health’s Pain Medicine Department, we are seeking a PA or NP to join our growing Pain Medicine Department. Our team works closely with primary care and other medical and surgical specialties to provide excellent quality care to members of our community. Our team consists of one ACGME fellowship trained Pain Medicine physician, three APP’s, and is supported by a strong care team and support services. Procedures are performed in clinic and outpatient surgical services at an efficient, physician-owned ASC. The Pain Medicine team is supported by an excellent and collaborative hospitalist team, and enjoys referrals from a primary care group of over 30 providers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Patient appointments with diagnoses and treatment of chronic pain and orthopedic conditions
• Coordination of care and referral to related specialties such as neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedics, rheumatology, and psychiatry
• Providing wellness services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients
• Ordering diagnostic tests, imaging review, interpreting lab results including drug screens and medication management 
• Ordering procedures including joint injections, spinal injections, RFA, PRP, SCST, etc. 
• Performs minor procedures
